Purpose of the role

As part of the structuring and management of specialized medical networks at a global level, the Group relies on transversal global networks covering critical activities such as Air Ambulance, Funeral Services and Medical Escort.

The Specialized Medical Networks Manager role reports to the Head of Hub Specialized Medical Networks. The role is responsible for managing, developing and maintaining these specialized networks, ensuring their performance, reliability and ability to support operational entities worldwide.

This position combines strong business expertise, a significant international dimension and a hands-on operational reference role for high-stakes and sensitive activities.

2.    Scope & Responsibilities

1.     1.      Management and development of specialized global networks

  • Manage global specialized networks: Air Ambulance, Funeral Services and Medical Escort

  • Develop and maintain a reliable international provider network

  • Identify needs for network evolution, extension or optimization

  • Support provider selection, evaluation and onboarding

  • Contribute to the structuring of network practices

 

.      2.      Performance and quality management

  • Manage network performance against defined objectives

  • Monitor key KPIs (service quality, timelines, reliability, compliance, costs)

  • Identify performance gaps and implement action plans

  • Ensure compliance with operational requirements and commitments

  • Proactively escalate risks, incidents and alerts

 

3.    3.      Operational support & business expertise (including 3AT tool)

  • Provide expert-level operational support on complex or sensitive cases

  • Act as business referent for Air Ambulance, Funeral Services and Medical Escort networks

  • Act as business referent for the 3AT tool within the Air Ambulance scope and ensure proper operational usage

  • Contribute to the co-construction of the 3AT tool roadmap in close collaboration with the Product Owner

  • Share network expertise and best practices across the Group

 

4.     4.      Partnerships and provider relationships

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key network partners

  • Participate in strategic and operational discussions with providers

  • Support contractual discussions and negotiations with relevant stakeholders

  • Represent the Group towards partners within the scope

 

5.     5.      Hub projects and transversal contribution

  • Contribute to transversal projects led by the Global & Specialized Medical Networks Hub

  • Provide network expertise to transformation initiatives (tools, processes, performance)

  • Coordinate with other Network Managers and regional hubs

  • Support the overall evolution of the network organization

Preferred Experience

Hard skills / experience

  • Proven experience in medical assistance, air ambulances operations or complex operational environments

  • Strong knowledge of international provider networks

  • Experience in network performance management (KPIs, quality, costs, risks)

  • Exposure to critical or high-risk operational cases

  • Experience in negotiating with international partners and providers

  • Experience working with operational business tools, ideally in regulated or sensitive contexts

  • Fluent professional English required; additional languages are a plus

  • Credible leadership, able to engage expert profiles and networks

  • Strong business and operational credibility

  • High adaptability in complex, evolving and international environments

  • Pragmatic, solution- and results-oriented approach
