Job Description

Context: reporting to the Group Head of Personal Assistance business line, the International Strategic Project Manager will be responsible for the scoping and operational delivery of strategic initiatives within the Group as well as key Business Development activities. To do so, he or she will be in direct contact with a broad range of stakeholders within Europ Assistance Group (Central functions – Business Lines, Insurance, Finance, Legal… and local Business Units), Generali Group (Central functions and local Business Units) as well as third parties (EA clients, vendors, external advisors).

Main duties:

Strategic projects

1/ As part of a key Group Customer Experience and Operations transformation strategic project:

•       Support key initiatives scoping with selected local EA Business Units and central functions (Customer Experience, Operations, IT, Insurance, Legal…): target process design, impact analysis, implementation roadmap…

•       Coordinate the different activities to launch initiatives: local pilot set-up, initiatives build (processes updates, change management, IT developments) and scale up across countries

•       Monitor initiatives progress and prepare reporting to Group Management Committee

2/ As part of EA Group strategic plan to develop Senior Care business across Europe:

•       In strong coordination with Group Central functions, lead the scoping and coordinate key activities for the set-up of a new Unit within the Group: target legal structure design (scenarios build, impact analysis…), target operating model definition (key activities map, processes design…), governance design, staffing needs…

•       Together with EA central functions, Group M&A and external financial advisor:

•       Build Unit multi-year business plan

•       Support strategic partner(s) sourcing (poetential partners screening, due diligence, info memo preparation…)

•       Support M&A activities: potential targets screening in priority countries, transaction processes (valuation, due diligence)

Coordination & support on strategic initiatives

International Business Development

•       Support the development of Personal Assistance business across the Group (B2B2C partnerships):

•       Leverage current strategic partners ecosystem (e.g. fintechs) to identify key business opportunities

•       Shape Target Operating Model to address most strategic opportunities, help source, design and implement solutions in strong coordination with local EA and Generali Business Units

•       When relevant, support local business opportunities providing business expertise

•       Conduct key international business opportunities (strategic partnerships or international tenders). Together with key Central Functions (Business Lines, Insurance, Legal & Compliance): define Europ Assistance value proposition, shape business proposal, support quotation activities, prepare and participate to client presentations, support client onboarding activities

•       Lead new product design activities: consumer data analysis, market / competitive landscape mapping, target market definition & business planning, value proposition design, product and underwriting guidelines definition

Preferred Experience

We are looking for:

-        7 to 10 years of experience in strategic and / or business consulting

-        Fluent French & English (working languages)

-        Ability to work in a growing, challenging & international environment

-        Project management skills, agility, problem solving mindset

-        Excellent leadership, ability to drive & convince

-        Previous experience in insurance is a plus
