Job Description

In 2025, Europ Assistance has created a new business unit, B2B2C Insurance Distribution Partnerships, working as an internal start-up, with the objective to be the unit within Generali group capturing all B2B2C insurance international partnerships business opportunities, throughout multiple Lines of Business (P&C and Life-Protection insurance). In this context, the new business unit will combine internal capabilities and leverage local Generali group units capabilities when / where appropriate.

We are currently seeking an International Business Development Manager Motor to support our key accounts and strategic sales initiatives and drive the next chapter of our commercial growth in Motor & Mobility lines of business.

This position is located within the B2B2C Insurance Distribution Partnerships unit and is responsible for international partnership development across the Generali Group.

This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic, results-driven leader with strong international B2B2C and B2B experience and a passion for delivering customer-centric solutions in a digital-first insurance environment.

In this role, you will also serve as a crucial link between our local markets and central commercial hub.


Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership

  • Develop international Motor & Mobility business opportunities.
  • Lead/manage partner relations, ensure lead generation and deal settlement.
  • Coordinate international insurance programs with local teams.
  • Drive commercial development in line with company growth objectives.

Performance Management

  • Support and empower European sales organization.
  • Gather data for portfolio performance, assess and optimize pipeline.
  • Prepare deals for approval, ensure timely and quality local implementation.

Sales Execution & Operational Excellence

  • Implement standardized sales processes across markets.
  • Develop new partners, reply to tenders, negotiate and close complex agreements.
  • Account management for onboarded partners, ensure satisfaction and value delivery.

Strategic Collaboration

  • Engage teams in Underwriting, IT, Marketing, Product, Claims, Operations.
  • Define priority segments (OEM, leasing, fleet companies, banks, etc.).
  • Contribute to cross-border strategy and gather partner feedback.

Market Strategy & Intelligence

  • Conduct market analysis, track trends and competitor strategies.
  • Support product development and pricing, co-shape Go-to-Market strategies.
  • Attend industry events and meet strategic clients.

Preferred Experience

  • Master degree from a TOP School + Perfect command of English (in written & in spoken).
  • 7+ years in sales, business development, or partnerships (Insurance, Insurtech, Fintech preferred).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Innovative solution design aligned with business goals.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, committed.
  • Problem-solving, prioritization, implementation know-how.
  • Analytical skills for market trends, sales performance, partnership opportunities.
  • Independent and collaborative work style.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across Europe.
