Job Description

With more than 300 million customers around the world and branches in more than 34 countries, Europ Assistance is the B2B2C insurance and assistance arm of the Generali Group and leading global player in the market focusing on Travel, Mobility, Home & Living, Health & Senior care.

In 1963, Europ Assistance invented the assistance business and since then diversified its activities into B2B2C insurance. We promote new customer solutions and product innovation in designing insurance solutions for business partners. Europ Assistance counts 12 000 employees, and experience double digit growth over the past years.

In 2025, Europ Assistance has created a new business unit, B2B2C Insurance Distribution Partnerships, working as an internal start-up, with the objective to be the unit within Generali group capturing all B2B2C insurance international partnerships business opportunities, throughout multiple Lines of Business (P&C and Life-Protection insurance). In this context, the new business unit will combine internal capabilities and leverage local Generali group units capabilities when / where appropriate.

Context

Reporting to the Non-Motor Chief Commercial Officer of the newly created B2B2C Insurance Distribution Partnerships Unit, the chosen person will be responsible for international Business Development activities.

To do so, he or she will be in direct contact with a broad range of stakeholders:

  • Europ Assistance business partners (clients or prospects)
  • Europ Assistance and Generali Group central and local functions: Insurance, Finance, IT, Operations, Legal & compliance…
  • Third party partners: InsurTech, MGA, TPAs…

Main duties

In line with Europ Assistance Group B2B2C insurance strategy and capabilities:

  • Build and maintain an active pipeline of opportunities, identifying most relevant business partners / prospects to address, taking into consideration the competitive landscape and leveraging existing relationship within the EA / Generali group and its extensive ecosystem (e.g. InsurTechs, MGAs…)
  • For the priority business partners / prospects identified:
    • Build relevant account plans
    • Shape compelling value propositions & sales presentations in line with business partners needs and expectations for insurance distribution
    • Identify key stakeholders and establish relationship
    • Build client propositions and lead negotiations with business partners
  • Lead international tenders in strong collaboration with key internal stakeholders: Insurance function, Finance, IT & Operations, Legal & Compliance – both at Central and Local Units levels
  • Support the onboarding of large international programs coordinating multiple functions: Insurance, IT & Operations, Legal & Compliance…
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty, while identifying potential cross-selling opportunities
  • Support new product design activities: target market definition, business planning, value proposition design, product and underwriting guidelines definition

Preferred Experience

Master degree from a TOP School + Perfect command of English (in written & in spoken)

  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in insurance / Insurance Distribution Partnership
  • Strong client orientation
  • Entrepreneurial minded individual
  • Ability to work in a growing, challenging & international environment
  • Project management skills, agility, problem solving mindset
  • Agility, capacity to manage uncertainty
  • Excellent leadership, ability to drive & convince
  • Consulting experience is a plus
